Modern fencing is done with one of three weapons each with its own rules and style. It is often said you don’t choose the weapon, the weapon chooses you.
Foil – Traditionally this is the weapon that new fencers learn on as it will teach “priority” for saber and the basic techniques needed for epee. Click here for more info specific to foil.
